Our Statement of Purpose
As a church called by God to love and worship Him, proclaim His Word, and
make disciples, we seek to:
- Be enthusiastic witnesses for Christ;
- Bring others to faith in Jesus;
- Build up believers in faith and knowledge;
- Become examples of love for God and others.
Our Core Values
- The authority of Jesus and the Bible. The Word of God is the final authority for our lives, so we will center our teaching and activities on the Bible (Matthew 28:18; John 1:1,14; 2 Timothy 3:16).
- Growing love for God is expressed in growing obedience and in worship, prayer, and other Biblical spiritual disciplines (Matthew 22:37-38; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27; 1 John 5:3).
- Growing love for others is best developed through small group fellowship, accountability, and compassionate service (Matthew 22:39; John 13:34-35).
- Preparing God's people. We are called to prepare God's people for service so they help to build up the church through their spiritual gifts and leadership (Ephesians 4:11-13).
- Relational evangelism. The good news about Christ is best shared through personal relationships (John 1:44-46; 1 Peter 3:15-16).
- World missions. Jesus called us to "go into all the world and preach the good news". We will join with partners to complete that task (Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15).
- Strengthening families. Since God entrusts the family with passing faith to children, we seek to help families grow spiritually stronger together (Deuteronomy 6:7; Ephesians 6:4).

Brief History
New Love in Christ Church is a non-denominational, Bible believing congregation
founded in 1989. Ross Reider is the founding and current Senior Pastor.
After renting space in the former Lower Paxton Junior High School for several
years, the church purchased the former school building on six acres in
1992. The church is also home to several other organizations. The building
is constantly being improved to meet the needs of our expanding ministries,
as well as the other organizations' needs.
